DESIGN CONSULTANT
Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kadawatha. The Design Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end success of a project, from winning to securing council approvals and providing technical design consultation during the construction phase.
The Design Consultant will act as the central pivot point between clients, design engineers, builders and council officials. His goal is to ensure that design specifications are technically sound, timelines are strictly met and all stakeholders are aligned to move the project from concept to completion.
Qualifications:
- Strong language proficiency in English
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Experience in Design Management and Civil Engineering
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with multiple stakeholders
- Project management skills
- Ability to understand design documents and ensure project specifications are strictly followed
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus
