The Faculty of Engineering at SLIIT has more than 100 staff and a growing cohort of undergraduate and postgraduate students. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and committed individual for the post of Instructor (Temporary) to work in the Industrial Training Division.

Instructor (Temporary)

A four-year Bachelor’s honours degree with a First Class or Second Class Upper Division in Engineering or a related field.

Core duties & responsibilities;

  • Division Management: Oversee all daily operational workflows of the Industrial Training Division, including time scheduling, activity planning, inventory control, and assisting with student inquiries.
  • Training Engineer Support: Assist Training Engineers in organizing training/site visits, coordinating final student training assessments, and maintaining comprehensive records.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate formal communication and logistics across SLIIT academic departments, student cohorts, and external engineering partners.
  • Placement & Data Management: Maintain up-to-date databases for student records, placement allocations, training organization details, and assessment marks.
  • Accreditation & Quality Support: Compile documentation required for IESL accreditation/recognition compliance, progress reviews, and structured feedback collection.
