POST OF OPERATION EXECUTIVE (WORKSHOP OPERATION)

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly and monthly service and repair schedules by reviewing and incorporating any jobs rescheduled from the previous month.
- Contact customers to confirm daily and weekly visits.
- Share daily, weekly, and monthly job schedules with the team.
- Develop weekly tour plans based on the monthly schedule, coordinating closely with the workshop team and job owners.
- Open job orders and raise MRNs using the SAP ERP system.
- Update all service-related information in the HRMS.
- Follow up on day-to-day job progress, providing regular updates to the workshop team and job owners.
- Ensure proper job completion procedures are followed and verify that all completed jobs are closed in the SAP ERP system within the month.
- Manage customer interactions and assist in resolving complaints.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on workshop performance, job completion progress, and job closing status in the SAP ERP system.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by TPL management.
- Proven ability to work across management reporting and shop floor execution, not one or the other.
- Hands-on experience with job allocation, technician scheduling and SRT / productivity reporting.
- Competence in preparing operational MIS and presenting performance data at management review level.
- Prior exposure to an automotive, generator or heavy equipment workshop environment will be added advantage.
Qualifications and Skills
- G.C.E O/L, G.C.E A/L,
- Full time or Part time Technical Qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Field, Diploma in Business Management or any other equivalent
- Minimum 1 or 2 years' experience in the same field.
- Good understanding of island-wide geographical locations and travel routes.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to plan and analyze effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Excellent command of English and Sinhala.
- Strong IT literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
