Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify local and international funding opportunities.
  • Prepare high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, donor reports and project documentation.
  • Coordinate project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting activities.
  • Develop project budgets, work plans, presentations and progress reports.
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, government institutions, NGOs and other stakeholders.
  • Support fundraising initiatives and partnership development efforts.
  • Prepare organizational publications, annual reports and promotional materials.
  • Support communications initiatives and organizational visibility.
  • Conduct project monitoring visits and document project achievements and impact.
  • Perform additional program and operational responsibilities assigned by management.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in project coordination, proposal writing, grant management, fundraising, or the NGO development sector will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong proposal writing, report writing, presentation design and document formatting skills.
  • Good analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Canva, presentation design, and AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini or similar).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Willingness to travel for project-related activities when required.
  • Knowledge of website content management and website updates (WordPress or similar CMS) will be an added advantage.
  • Applicants below 40 years of age are preferred.
