Senior Supply Chain Executive
Location: Nugegoda
Jeya Book Centre is one of the leading booksellers in Sri Lanka. Our business operations involve importing and distributing printed books of various categories such as Medicine, Education, Fiction, etc. We are currently looking for dynamic individuals for the below position with the following attributes to be a part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure customer quotations and purchase orders promptly.
- Maintain quotation records and verify stock availability, Reconcile order values with quoted prices.
- Handle import documentation, shipping and customs clearance.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders and clearing agents.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and vendor negotiation.
- Excellent negotiation skills, time management & communication skills are required.
- Should possess good communication skills in English.
- Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Diploma in logistics management, Supply Chain or similar qualifications.
- Age below 40 years of age.
