Finance Manager
Jie Jie Beach Hotel – Panadura, Sri Lanka
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the hotel's Finance & Accounting operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets forecasts and management reports
- Monitor revenue, expenses, cash flow, receivables, payables and cost controls
- Ensure proper controls over hotel revenue, inventories, purchasing and payments
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and audit requirements
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the General Manager and Management
- Lead and supervise the Finance Department team
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Professional qualification in CA / CIMA / ACCA / CMA or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree or MBA in Finance / Accountancy will be an added advantage
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Finance / Accounting at managerial level, preferably in the hotel industry
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Finance Manager in star-class hotels
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, cost control and taxation
- Good command of PMS / Accounting systems, preferably hands-on experience with Scenter
- Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail
