Quantity Surveyor - JAT Furnishing
Qualifications
- Certification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying within the building materials and interior industry
- Proven experience in cost estimation, cost analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for construction projects
- Experience in preparing, evaluating, and negotiating tenders and contract
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse project cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation for construction projects
- Utilise AutoCAD to perform quantity take-offs, measurements, and develop detailed shop drawings
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and schedules with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Manage project costs through risk assessment, value engineering, cost control, and commercial risk mitigation
- Provide contract administration support, including claims, variations, invoice verification, payment certification, and compliance with construction standards
