Uga Chena Huts – Yala is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team. We are looking for an experienced, guest-focused and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, service and guest satisfaction.
The Ideal Profile We Are Looking For:
- A Proven Track Record: Minimum 5 years of experience in housekeeping operations, including relevant experience in a similar capacity, preferably within luxury resorts or boutique hotels.
- Operational Knowledge: Expertise in housekeeping best practices, cleaning equipment, and hygiene standards, combined with a strong commitment to sustainability and creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Leadership & Team Management: Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide, motivate and develop the housekeeping team, conduct coaching sessions and drive productivity and performance.
- Professionalism & Problem-Solving: High integrity, accountability and adaptability, with a positive attitude and the ability to handle operational challenges through effective problem-solving and decision-making.
- Communication & Cross-Functional Skills: Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments, foster strong interdepartmental relationships, and support efficient property-wide operations.
- Professional Qualifications: A Diploma or Professional Qualification in Hotel Management or a related field.

As an Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas consistently meet Uga's standards. You will lead the team, monitor operational checklists, manage training and performance, follow up on audit findings, control costs and continuously drive improvements in guest experience and operational excellence.
