TRADE OFFICER - BRANCHES
Job Profile
- Ensure the smooth operation of trade services by delivering quality service and maintaining accurate transactions in compliance with bank policies, procedure manuals, statutory requirements, and KYC regulations
- Onboard and acquire new trade finance clients
- Scrutinize LC applications and follow up with customers on required corrections
- Obtain necessary credit approvals and follow up on pending approvals
- Endorse documents and release them to customers
- Ensure timely delivery of advices and endorsed import documents to customers
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through quality and timely service
- Minimize customer complaints and respond promptly to queries
Person profile
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- Graduate from a recognized university, or full/part qualification in Banking
- Qualification in Trade Finance and Bank Operations from a recognized professional body
- Sound knowledge of Local and International Trade Regulations
- Strong written and verbal Communication Skills
- Excellent Negotiation and Cross-Selling Abilities
- Sound understanding of the bank's operational policies and procedures
