OPERATION ASSISTANT – INVENTORY (MALE)
ROLE SUMMARY
The Stores Assistant supports daily F&B commissary operations by receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and tracking ingredients, packaging, and supplies while maintaining food safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect incoming food materials, frozen goods, dry items, and packaging against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Report damaged, missing, or non-compliant items immediately.
- Maintain proper storage, labelling, and stock rotation using FIFO and FEFO methods.
- Conduct regular stock counts and monitor stock variances, shortages, and expiry dates.
- Issue materials to production sections based on approved requisitions.
- Update the ERP system and maintain accurate receiving, issuing, wastage, and stock records.
- Identify slow-moving, near-expiry, and dead stock for timely action.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- A/L or equivalent qualification.
- Diploma or vocational training in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Hospitality, or Food Handling is an advantage.
- Minimum one year experience in inventory operations preferably in the F&B, hotel, or food-production sector.
- Computer literacy in MS Excel and Word.
- Experience using inventory or ERP systems is an added advantage.
