SALES CAPABILITY DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
The Colombo Ice Company Limited (CICL), manufacturer of Elephant House Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CICL is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The company is looking for a Sales Capability Development Executive to support the training and development of field sales teams. Through structured learning initiatives and field-based training, the role will help strengthen sales capabilities, improve execution standards, and support business growth across assigned regions.
The selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Delivering sales training programs to enhance the capabilities of company and distributor sales teams.
- Identifying training needs through field observations and performance assessments.
- Supporting the development of sales, execution, and customer management skills.
- Evaluating training effectiveness and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Preparing training reports and providing insights on team development and performance.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel extensively, as this role requires approximately 90% field-based work.
- An interest in sales operations, field sales processes, training, and people development.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in the FMCG industry will be an added advantage. However, fresh graduates with a passion for learning and development are encouraged to apply.
