CONSULTANT – SAP FIORI/ABAP
Location – Teejay Lanka PLC
The Job
- Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP solutions in line with business and technical requirements.
- Develop and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and related technical objects.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and recommend effective technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure quality and reliability of developments.
- Provide technical support for SAP projects, enhancements, and production support activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring technical issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business teams to understand process requirements and integration points across SAP modules.
- Ensure all development deliverables are completed in line with agreed project timelines, standards, and documentation requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation, user guidance, and support materials where required.
- Maintain a strong understanding of SAP database structures, module integrations, and development best practices.
The Person
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any other related field.
- Knowledge in SAP process Orchestrator is an advantage.
- SAP certification is an advantage.
- 2 or more years of relevant work experience in IT applications.
- Proven expertise in SAP project teams & working with vendors.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, meet deadlines and simultaneously develop, deploy, and coordinate multiple projects.
- Ability to successfully lead others as well as lead projects by projecting a positive attitude by motivating a team.
