LEGAL OFFICER PFS UNDERWRITING DEPARTMENT- LOANS
You should ideally:
- be an Attorney-at-Law and preferably completed LLB
- possess approximately 5 to 10 years of experience in the legal field, covering areas such as conveyancing, Company Law, and legal documentation/drafting, preferably in the Banking/Financial Services sector
- be aware of and alert to all changes in the corporate, economic, banking, and legal environment
- have the ability to exercise a judicious balance between diverse objectives and demands from various officers and clients
You will be mainly responsible for:
- supporting in all the housing loan title examination, mortgage bond execution on Housing Loans, Mortgage bond execution on Vehicle Loans and post execution matters and taking up leadership to complete the tasks assigned to the Unit
- overlooking and attending to legal recovery work as required, providing training and knowledge sharing for self and the team, and offering legal advice to staff, loan units, and staff loan applicants
- ensuring process efficiency, adherence, and compliance of legal and advisory services, including in-house title checking, mortgage bond execution, post-execution handling, and clearing documents handled by panel lawyers, while maintaining statutory compliance and proper documentation
- generating legal fee income by maintaining high service quality standards, adhering to SLAs, and building strong relationships with internal and external customers
