Manager
Restructuring & Close Monitoring Department
You should ideally:
- possess approximately 8 years of experience in branch banking and/or credit operations
- possess a degree in a relevant field and/or a professional qualification in banking, finance, or management
- have sound knowledge of credit evaluation, restructuring/rescheduling, and related analytical practices
- possess strong decision-making, leadership, and people management skills
- have excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
- possess the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate resilience in a dynamic business environment
You will be mainly responsible for:
- monitoring recovery activities in designated branches
- managing interest collection ratios of performing clients
- negotiating settlements of non-performing facilities, including hard-core and litigated clients
- guiding the restructuring and rescheduling of credit facilities
- managing relationships with distressed clients
- coordinating with business units and respective departments on recovery-related activities
- following up on expired valuations of stage 3 clients
- drafting stage movement confirmations for finance
- supporting business units on collection ratio and impairment-related matters
- acting as the operational risk (OP-Risk) coordinator of the department
- ensuring compliance with CBSL and other related regulatory requirements as and when necessary
- providing and managing MIS support for the RCM department's recovery databases to ensure smooth monitoring and follow-up processes
