JOB PROFILE
- Assess life insurance applications and related documents to evaluate risk.
- Make accurate underwriting decisions in line with company guidelines.
- Ensure sound risk management to support a profitable insurance portfolio.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including medical professionals and reinsurers, when required.
- Maintain compliance with underwriting standards and service requirements.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Experience in life insurance underwriting or a related insurance role.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of medical underwriting and reinsurance will be an added advantage.
