SENIOR BANKING ASSISTANT - CREDIT SERVICES
You should ideally:
- possess GCE O/L qualifications with Credit passes in English and Mathematics
- possess GCE A/L qualifications with three passes (excluding General English) obtained in one sitting within the first three attempts
- possess full or part qualifications in AAT, ICASL, CIMA, CIM, IBSL, or ACCA
- have a minimum of 2-6 years of relevant experience in a banking or financial institution
- have sound knowledge of credit procedures, lending operations, and loan processing
- be equipped with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
You will be mainly responsible for:
- managing loan and lease disbursements, approvals, amendments, and restructures
- ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and service level agreements
- authorizing credit facilities and maintaining the accuracy of banking system records
- providing information and resolving queries relating to credit facilities and customer accounts
- conducting system testing and supporting process improvements
- assisting in planning, KPI setting, resource management, and staff development initiatives
- preparing and processing offer letters for approved credit facilities
- examining and validating security documents to ensure compliance and proper execution
