ASSOCIATE FIELD ENGINEER /FIELD ENGINEER (Colombo, Negombo, Badulla/ Bandarawela)
The position is responsible for handling engineering operations for ATMs, CRMs, passbook printers, and other products, including installations, maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, and upgrades. The role requires meeting SLA and preventive maintenance targets, managing tickets and spare parts, providing island-wide and after-hours support, and coordinating with relevant teams to ensure efficient and uninterrupted customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle inspections, installations, breakdowns, maintenance, and repairs within SLA.
- Complete preventive maintenance within agreed timelines.
- Update tickets, close calls, return parts, and submit FSRs promptly.
- Coordinate with teams and complete jobs with minimum supervision.
- Provide island-wide and after-hours technical support as required.
- Identify resource, operational, and technical issues and report them.
- Implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 / 4 Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and site inspections.
