The Job
- Accounts Receivables: You should be a proactive and a self-motivated person with the ability to build professional relationships and work closely with internal and external Stakeholders. You will have the overall responsibility in managing the AR and related targets. The role will encompass driving AR provision clearance and collections targets with internal and external stakeholders and managing AR aging targets proactively.
- Month end closure: Work on tight timeline to finalize monthly accounts while ensuring the accuracy and compliance to SLFRS. Teamwork and collaboration is vital to close monthly accounts within short reporting timelines.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Work together with different cross functional teams in setting up annual/ monthly targets for related work areas. Present monthly and quarterly performance to the management committee with relevant analysis and explanation of the performance.
- Customer Analytics: Analyse customer profitability, future order book, delivery performance, credit worthiness, etc. to drive insights to help the decision-making process of the management. Knowledge on Power Bi analytics would be an added advantage.
- Group Insurance: You will assist in managing the group insurance function. This will encompass annual insurance renewal negotiations, ensuring company assets are covered for all risks, obtaining insurance claims and building effective relationships with insurance brokers and insurance companies.
In addition to above mentioned primary responsibilities, you will be involved in other management accounting and treasury related activities such as investor relations, involving in digitalization processes, cost initiatives and follow up of management metrics, etc.
The Person
You should be a partly / fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA, ICASL or possess a Degree in Business Management or Accounting with at least 2 years of work experience in a similar capacity. Any exposure to the textile/garm ent industry will be an added advantage. Hands on experience with an ERP system is a must, preferably with SAP. You should be proactive, assertive and self- driven with the ability to work in pressurized situations. You should possess good interpersonal skills and be able to deal with multi-disciplinary internal and external teams. You should be IT literate, possess quantitative aptitudes along with good communication, analytical skills and possess task prioritization and time management capabilities.
