Field Service Technician - Home Appliances

Browns & Company PLC, one of Sri Lanka's largest diversified conglomerates with a heritage spanning over 150 years, is seeking skilled and motivated Field Service Technicians to join our service team.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of home appliances, ensuring high-quality technical support and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs of washing machines, refrigerators, and air conditioners.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults.
- Attend customer service calls and provide professional on-site technical support.
- Ensure timely completion of service assignments while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Maintain customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery and professional communication.
- Prepare service reports and maintain accurate technical documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ Level 4 qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience in servicing washing machines, refrigerators, and air conditioners.
- Previous experience in home appliance servicing will be an added advantage.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and customer-handling skills.
- Valid driving licence will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel for customer service assignments.
