EXECUTIVE FINANCE & ACCOUNTING
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and review accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, and intercompany transactions.
- Support and coordinate regional operational matters, including branch operations, stock verifications, compliance reviews, operational audits, and performance monitoring.
- Oversee payment processing, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
- Review and approve accounting documents in line with delegated authority limits.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
- Supervise assigned finance processes and provide guidance to junior team members.
- Participate in system enhancement, process improvement, and control-related projects.
- Prepare and reconcile Balance Sheet schedules and conduct the required discussions with relevant stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, AAT, or equivalent professional accounting qualification. (Preferably Final stage)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in supporting and coordinating regional operational activities, including branch operations, stock verifications, cash controls, compliance reviews, and operational performance monitoring would be an added advantage.
- Strong competency in internal control systems, risk management, and compliance procedures.
- Experience in payment processing, reconciliations, month-end closing, and journal entries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
- Leadership capability and ability to guide and support team members.
