NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER – IT DEPARTMENT
You should ideally:
- be qualified with a Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
- be security-focused, analytical, and capable of troubleshooting complex network security issues
- be able to work effectively under pressure and within a 24x7 critical banking infrastructure environment
- possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in network security engineering, preferably in the banking or financial services sector
- possess relevant professional certifications such as Check Point, Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security, F5, Fortinet, Comptia Security+, or equivalent
- have strong knowledge of network security technologies, firewall administration, and WAF policy management
- have excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- have a proactive approach to identifying security risks and recommending improvements
You will be mainly responsible for:
- managing and maintaining Check Point, Cisco firewalls, and F5 security solutions
- configuring firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, WAF, and load balancing services
- monitoring, analyzing, and responding to network security threats and incidents
- implementing security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and high-availability solutions
- supporting secure connectivity across applications, data centers, branches, and third-party networks
- troubleshooting network and security issues while ensuring service continuity
- collaborating with cross-functional IT and Cyber Security teams
- maintaining documentation, supporting audits, compliance requirements, and disaster recovery activities
- staying updated on emerging cyber threats and network security best practices
