CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (FULL TIME)
SITE: KILINOCHCHI
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE :
To lead and manage construction activities at our Kilinochchi site, ensuring successful execution of projects in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and approved timelines, while effectively coordinating with project teams, consultants, and relevant stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Supervise and manage construction activities at site, including civil, structural, and related works.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, client teams, procurement teams, subcontractors, and site engineers.
- Monitor and control project progress, resources, and work schedules.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, BOQs, cost estimates, material requirements, method statements, and work schedules.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on project status, issues, and solutions.
- Plan, supervise, and monitor site labour, equipment, and materials efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Should be a Civil Engineer having at least 10 years experience or a Civil Engineer with qualifications to obtain Associate Membership of the Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka, having 10 years experience in construction of (site organization, supervision, contract administration, monitoring, planning) multi storey buildings in similar nature.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Good knowledge of construction methodologies, site management practices, and relevant regulations.
- Ability to work with project teams, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and site staff effectively.
