WE’RE HIRING OUTLET MANAGER – MINI MART & EATERY
Location: Upcountry, Sri Lanka
Help build a new kind of travel stop.
We are developing a 24-hour travel-stop concept combining a mini mart, food and beverages, travel essentials, reliable internet and mobile charging facilities. We are looking for a practical, hands-on Outlet Manager to lead our first outlet and help shape a model that can grow into other locations.
YOUR ROLE
- Take ownership of day-to-day outlet operations and customer service.
- Manage the mini mart's stock, ordering, receiving, replenishment and product availability.
- Control cash, POS transactions, stock variances, expiry dates and wastage, with accurate daily reporting.
- Supervise and train staff, organise shifts and maintain service standards across a 24-hour operation.
- Coordinate food and beverage service, maintaining hygiene, food safety and consistent quality.
- Drive sales through effective merchandising, product selection and attentive service.
- Help develop and test practical operating procedures that can be repeated at future outlets.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience managing or supervising a mini mart, convenience store, supermarket or similar retail operation is essential.
- Basic food and beverage knowledge or experience would be an advantage.
- Strong practical skills in stock control, cash handling, POS systems and staff supervision.
- A commercially minded approach, with attention to sales, margins and cost control.
- A reliable, organized person who takes initiative, solves problems and leads by example.
- Willingness to work in the Upcountry area and manage staff working on a shift basis, including nights, weekends and holidays.
