Jungle Beach – Trincomalee is seeking a Stewarding Associate to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the daily operations of the Kitchen department, by ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and proper handling of kitchen equipment, utensils, and food & beverage service areas while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and operational efficiency.
By maintaining exceptional service standards, as a Stewarding Associate, you will support the smooth functioning of our daily operations by ensuring the timely processing, proper care, and quality control of all kitchen operations. We are looking for a dedicated professional who understands that behind every memorable guest experience lies attention to detail, operational excellence, and a commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality.
The Ideal Profile We Are Looking For:
- A Proven Track Record: Previous experience in stewarding, kitchen operations, or a similar role within the hospitality industry will be an added advantage. Fresh candidates with a positive attitude are also encouraged to apply.
- Operational Knowledge: Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, food safety, hygiene standards, and the proper handling of kitchen equipment and chemicals, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Collaboration and Accountability: A dependable team player who works closely with the Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams to ensure the timely availability of clean utensils, crockery, cutlery, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Organizational Skills: A structured and proactive professional who effectively prioritizes kitchen tasks, maintains quality standards, and supports seamless guest service delivery.
- Professional Qualifications: A qualification in Hospitality Management will be an added advantage.
