MANAGER ENGINEERING

We invite an Engineer with a bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineering and hands on experience in maintenance in a manufacturing plant to head the Engineering Department at Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC as the Manager Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning & undertaking scheduled maintenance and emergency repair/breakdown.
- Proper implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
- Engaging in continuous improvement and quality improvement projects.
- Providing necessary expertise to upgrade machinery in order to improve the operational efficiency & introduce/implement new technology/automation.
- Estimating maintenance cost, evaluating alternatives & managing budgets related to maintenance.
- Leading and managing the technical team fostering cordial industrial relations within the Department.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical engineering
- Over 10 years of experience in maintenance in the manufacturing industry with at least two years in a managerial position.
- Candidates residing in Gampaha, Negombo, Madampe, Kuliyapitiya or Dankotuwa will be preferred.
