WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Navik Mills (pvt) Ltd is a well reputed, large scale coconut kernel-based food and beverage manufactures and exporters incorporated in 2019 at Pallama, Chilaw. Due to rapid growth and expansion of the company, we are seeking an energetic professional to join the company.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all warehouse operations and activities.
- Ensure proper receiving, storage, handling, issuing, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment.
- Ensure proper identification, labelling, segregation, and storage of materials.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Sales, and Accounts departments.
- Ensure proper documentation for all warehouse transactions.
- Monitor the proper handling of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, food safety, hygiene, and audit requirements.
- Supervise warehouse staff and allocate duties effectively.
- Prepare and submit regular stock and warehouse-related reports to management.
- Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions.
Qualification
- Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 6–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
