- Sous Chef
GROUNDWORKS (PVT) LTD is looking for a skilled and responsible Sous Chef to join our team for a staff catering operation at Hambantota International port.

- Salary: Rs. 175,000 – Rs. 200,000 per month

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare daily menus for port staff meals.
- Manage the preparation and cooking of food in bulk quantities.
- Ensure consistent quality and taste of meals.
- Manage kitchen operations and coordinate with kitchen staff.
- Maintain proper food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Monitor food stocks and minimize wastage.
- Ensure meals are prepared and served according to the required schedule.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef / Senior Chef or in a similar position.
- Strong knowledge of menu planning and bulk food preparation.
- Ability to manage kitchen operations independently.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Good leadership and teamwork skills.
Preference will be given to candidates who
- Are currently residing in or around Hambantota.
- Can join immediately.
- Have experience in staff catering, institutional catering, large-scale food preparation, or similar operations.
