Junior Lawyer - Litigation
We are looking for a motivated and committed Attorney-at-Law to join our team as a Junior Lawyer – Litigation at our office in Battaramulla.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with civil and commercial litigation matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions and other legal documents.
- Represent and appear for clients before Courts and Tribunals.
- Assist with Court-related procedures, filings and obtaining certified copies of Court records.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case-related documentation.
- Liaise with clients, counsel and relevant authorities.
- Maintain proper case files and ensure matters are attended to within required timelines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
- Minimum 2 years' relevant legal experience, preferably with litigation experience.
- Good knowledge of civil and commercial litigation and Court procedure.
- Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge or practical experience in Company Secretarial work will be an added advantage.
