WE ARE HIRING
Junior Lawyer - Conveyancing
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Attorney-at-Law to join our team as a Junior Lawyer – Conveyancing at our office in Battaramulla.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct title searches and title investigations.
- Prepare title reports, pedigrees and related documentation.
- Draft and attend to deeds, leases, mortgages and other property-related documents.
- Handle conveyancing and notarial matters.
- Liaise with clients, attorneys, notaries and relevant authorities.
- Ensure assigned matters are handled accurately and within required timelines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
- Minimum 2 years' relevant legal experience, with practical experience in conveyancing and notarial work.
- Experience in title searches, title reports and drafting deeds.
- Good knowledge of property and land law.
- Strong legal drafting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Notarial Licence in the Colombo District is a MUST.
- Knowledge or practical experience in Company Secretarial work will be an added advantage.
