STORES EXECUTIVE – TEA SECTION
Location: Boralesgamuwa
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store tea packing materials, and other inventory items in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure all inventory transactions are recorded in the system.
- Issue raw materials and packing materials to production against approved requisitions.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and housekeeping within the store.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist in monthly and annual stock verification.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing, Production and Quality Assurance teams to ensure the timely availability of materials.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, food safety standards and inventory control practices.
Qualifications
- G.C.E. (A/L) qualification or above.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Stores Executive, Store Keeper or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Good knowledge of inventory management, stock control and storekeeping practices.
- Basic computer literacy and experience in using inventory or ERP systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in or around Boralesgamuwa, Maharagama, Piliyandala, Kottawa and nearby areas.
