SOLAR TECHNICIAN
Maintenance & Installation
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Solar panel cleaning & routine maintenance
- Solar PV inspections & preventive maintenance
- Basic electrical testing & maintenance
- Assist with fault identification & corrective maintenance
- Solar PV installation, wiring & commissioning
- Service records & maintenance reports
- Site safety compliance
- Travel to customer sites when required
REQUIREMENTS
- NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent Electrical/ Electronic qualification
- Solar PV experience is an advantage
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Practical, hardworking & willing to learn
- Comfortable working outdoors & at heights
- Good teamwork & communication
- Valid driving licence is an advantage
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Primary focus: Solar PV maintenance, panel cleaning & routine site maintenance
- Additional exposure: Solar PV installation activities when required
- Technical support: Complex troubleshooting handled with support from the engineering team
