We are currently seeking skilled and experienced professionals to join our team as;
MEDICAL OFFICER – COLOMBO
The selected candidates will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive health services, in line with established clinical standards. The role also involves ensuring patient safety, maintaining accurate medical records and supporting the overall quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery within the organization.
Roles and responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of the assigned Unit/s
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies
- Conduct daily ward rounds and monitor patient progress
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical documentation
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with consultants, nursing staff and allied healthcare professionals
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, clinical protocols, infection control standards and patient safety guidelines
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation requirements
Ideal applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes
- MBBS degree from a recognized university with SLMC (Sri Lanka Medical Council) registration
- Minimum one (01) year of clinical experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care
