Vacancy – Stores Manager / Stores Executive
Location: Salaka Senkada(Pvt) Ltd, Union Place, Colombo 02
Work Schedule
- Weekdays: 8.00 AM – 5.00 PM (Normal Shift)
- Saturday: 8.00 AM – 1.00 PM (Half Day)
We are seeking an experienced, responsible, and organized Stores Manager / Stores Executive to oversee daily store operations and ensure efficient inventory management. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, organizational, and stock management skills with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate store activities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day store operations and activities
- Supervising and coordinating stores staff
- Monitoring stock movements, transfers, and issues
- Identifying stock shortages, excess stock, and damaged items
- Preparing stock reports and maintaining store documentation
- Coordinating with purchasing, accounts, and other departments
- Ensuring proper stock control procedures are followed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Stores, Inventory,
- Experience in supervising or managing stores operations
- Good knowledge of stock control and inventory management
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory/accounting software
- Good leadership and communication skills
Qualifications:
- G.C.E. O/L or A/L qualification
- Certificate/Diploma in Stores Management, Inventory Management, Logistics, or a related field will be an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar supervisory/management position will be an advantage
