Junior System Engineer
Medcube USA Is Looking For A Proactive Junior System Engineer To Join Our IT Infrastructure Team. The Role Provides Hands-On Experience With Enterprise Systems, Virtualization, Networking, And Cloud Technologies While Supporting Secure And Reliable IT Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist With Administration Of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, And File Services.
- Install, Configure, Maintain, And Troubleshoot Physical And Virtual Servers.
- Support VMware And Hyper-V Virtualization Environments.
- Monitor System Performance, Availability, Storage, And Infrastructure Alerts.
- Perform Server Patching, Software Updates, Backups, Restores, And Routine Maintenance.
- Assist With Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL And MongoDB Administration And Monitoring.
- Troubleshoot Basic Networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, And Connectivity Issues.
- Provide Technical Support For System And Infrastructure-Related Issues.
- Assist With Infrastructure Deployments, Security, Access Control, And System Hardening.
- Maintain Technical Documentation And Operational Procedures.
- Escalate Critical Issues To Senior System Engineers.
- Participate In Maintenance Activities, Infrastructure Projects, And On-Call Support When Required.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Diploma Or Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Or A Related Field.
- Candidates With Relevant Technical Certifications And Practical Experience Are Also Encouraged To Apply.
Experience
- 2+ Years Of Experience In System Administration, IT Support, Or Infrastructure Support.
- Fresh Graduates With Strong Technical Knowledge Are Encouraged To Apply.
- Basic Hands-On Experience With Windows Server, Active Directory, Networking, Or Virtualization Is An Advantage.
- Basic Linux/UNIX Knowledge Is A Plus.
Technical Skills
- Windows & AD: Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Permissions.
- Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, VM Configuration And Troubleshooting.
- Networking: TCP/IP, IP Addressing, Subnetting, DNS/DHCP, VPN, Basic Switches, Routers, And Firewalls.
- Infrastructure: Server Troubleshooting, Storage, Backups, Monitoring, Patching, And Hardware.
- Cloud & Tools: Basic Microsoft Azure, PowerShell/Scripting, And Monitoring/Management Tools Such As SCCM Or MECM.
- Basic Understanding Of IT Security And System Hardening.
Nice To Have
- Microsoft Certifications Such As AZ-900, AZ-104, MD-102, Or Windows Server Certifications.
- VMware/Hyper-V Experience.
- Linux Administration Or PowerShell Scripting.
- Azure Or Hybrid Infrastructure Experience.
- Veeam Or Other Backup Solutions.
- ITIL Or IT Service-Management Knowledge.
