OPERATIONS MONITORING & CONTROL OFFICER
JUNIOR EXECUTIVE/ EXECUTIVE GRADE

We are seeking a highly organised, analytical, and proactive Officer to support the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in monitoring branch and department operations, coordinating management information, tracking operational performance, audit observations, and governance-related actions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior management, contribute to strategic decision-making, and play a key role in enhancing operational effectiveness across the organisation.
Who We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Business Administration, Management, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications in Secretarial Practice, Office Management, Administration, Banking, Finance, Audit, Risk, or Business Analytics will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or MIS tools will be an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in banking, financial services, or a regulated corporate environment.
- Knowledge of branch operations, operational controls, audit follow-up, management reporting, and performance monitoring.
- Experience in preparing reports and presentations for senior management.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and consolidate information across business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and follow up on operational activities across branches and departments.
- Collect, analyse and consolidate operational performance data into management reports and dashboards.
- Prepare summaries, status updates and management information for the COO.
- Coordinate with Branch Managers and Department Heads on operational matters and corrective actions.
- Track and monitor process improvements, internal control issues and management action plans.
- Maintain and follow up on audit observations, corrective actions and compliance requirements.
- Monitor the review, approval and implementation of policies, procedures and SOPs.
- Maintain operational trackers, records and documentation to support effective governance.
- Assist with operational reviews, special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties and special assignments as delegated by the COO.
