ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly analytical Auditor to join our growing group of companies in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting internal and external audits across multiple business divisions, ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, effective internal controls, and proper risk management across the Group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive financial, operational, and internal audits across the Group of Companies.
  • Audit finance and accounting processes, transactions, reports, and other business activities.
  • Review vehicle fleet operations, including fleet costs, asset records, maintenance expenses, utilization, and revenue.
  • Audit tourism and travel-related business operations, including financial audits and other business transactions.
  • Review technology systems, digital systems, online transactions, and system-based financial controls.
  • Identify financial discrepancies, operational risks, control weaknesses, and potential areas of fraud or non-compliance.
  • Evaluate and improve internal control systems and business processes.
  • Conduct audits to identify internal accounting, tourism, and business management systems.
  • Review BPO processes and outsourced financial functions.
  • Verify financial data, supporting documentation, reconciliations, involved parties, and required corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, recommendations, and required corrective measures.
  • Work closely with management, finance teams, operations teams, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure business operations comply with applicable Australian accounting, financial, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements in internal control systems.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of professional auditing experience, preferably including online/remote auditing.
  • 2-3+ years of experience auditing an Australian finance company or Australian financial operations is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in BPO auditing and outsourced business procedures.
  • Experience conducting online/digital audits and working with cloud-based accounting or business systems.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements, reconciliations, transfers, restorations, and financial controls.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting/audit software.
  • Experience with Australian business practices and regulatory requirements will be an advantage.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Business, or related professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, CIA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Australian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with multinational or multi-company business structures.

WORKING HOURS

  • Working hours: 4:30 AM – 12:30 PM (As per AUS working time).
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and suitable equipment.
  • Quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 40–48 hours per week.
