AREA SALES & PROPAGANDA MANAGER – HARCROS CHEMICALS

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A RESULTS-DRIVEN AREA SALES MANAGER FOR THE NORTHERN REGION: JAFFNA, KILINOCHCHI, MULLAITIVU, VAVUNIYA AND MANNAR

REPORTS TO: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER / DIRECTOR – SALES

YOUR ROLE

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve volume and revenue targets
  • Lead, motivate and develop Sales Officers, agronomists and promoters
  • Build strong relationships with dealers, distributors and key customers
  • Expand the distribution network and identify new business opportunities
  • Manage stock availability, demand forecasts and consignments inventory
  • Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback
  • Oversee credit control, collections and the timely recovery of outstanding payments
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A degree in Agriculture or Biology, or a Diploma in Agriculture at NVQ Level 6; or
  • GCE Advanced Level qualifications in the Science stream, together with strong sales experience in redistribution operations within the FMCG or hardware sectors
  • Proven sales, team-leadership and relationship-management capabilities
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to deliver results in a competitive market
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
