Position – Assistant Accountant / Accounting Intern

Assistant Accountant
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years' experience in financial accounting or a similar position.
- Experience as an Audit Trainee or in an auditing environment will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Good analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Good communication skills, professional telephone etiquette, and a good command of English.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Accounting Intern
Requirements
- Undergraduate or recent graduate pursuing a professional or academic qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Good communication skills and a good command of English.
Scope of the internship – training/work assignments
Key Responsibilities (Asst. Acct):
- 1. Assist the Manager – Finance & Administration in the day-to-day financial accounting functions of the Company.
- 2. Perform bank, ledger, and other account reconciliations.
- 3. Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and daily accounting entries.
- 4. Handle Inland Revenue Department (IRD) approvals and correspondence relating to foreign remittances.
- 5. Administer documentation relating to accounts payable and other finance activities.
- 6. Assist in budget monitoring and financial analysis.
- 7. Prepare reports, data entries, and financial documentation.
- 8. Maintain professional relationships with clients, service providers, and other stakeholders.
- 9. Ensure assigned duties are completed accurately and on a timely basis.
- 10. All duties should be updated/completed on daily basis.
