Asst. Quality Controllers Ready-mix Concrete (RMC) Operations - Colombo

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Asst. Quality Controllers to join our Ready-Mix Concrete team in Colombo.
Job Role
We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Assistant Quality Controllers to join our Ready-mix Concrete team in Colombo. The selected candidates will play a key role in maintaining and improving the quality standards of our concrete production processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- B.Sc. degree in Physical/Material Science with Chemistry as a subject from a recognized university.
- Previous experience in QA/QC-related work will be an added advantage.
- Good command of English and computer literacy is mandatory.
- Strong time management skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Effective communication skills with excellent interpersonal and people management abilities.
- Age should be below 35 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine quality tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and calibration records.
- Record and analyze test results to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Assist in preparing quality reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Identify and report any quality deviations or non-conformances promptly.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of QA/QC procedures.
- Coordinate with production and site teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Adhere to safety and environmental regulations in the lab and plant areas.
