ABOUT ISIB
Imperial Specialty Insurance Brokers (Private) Limited (ISIB) is a specialist Insurance and Reinsurance Broker serving clients in Sri Lanka and international markets. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to take responsibility for the servicing, retention and growth of our Global Health Insurance portfolio and will be reporting to The Head of Business Development. The role also provides exposure to other areas of insurance and reinsurance broking, international markets and specialist insurance solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and service an existing portfolio of Global / International Health Insurance clients.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high standard of service.
- Handle renewals, endorsements and other policy servicing requirements.
- Coordinate with international insurers, underwriters, TPAs and other service providers.
- Assist clients with claims and service-related matters.
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities and develop new business.
- Prepare quotations, comparisons and presentations and negotiate with insurers.
- Maintain an effective renewal and business-development pipeline.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in insurance, preferably in Health / International Health Insurance.
- Strong knowledge of health insurance products, benefits, exclusions and claims procedures.
- Proven client-servicing, relationship-management and business-development skills.
- Strong sales ability with a commercial mindset.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to communicate confidently with corporate clients and international insurance partners.
- Strong organisational, follow-up and problem-solving skills.
