Brand Manager - Lending & Business Portfolio

We seek an exceptional marketing professional to lead CDB's Brand, Growth Marketing & Customer Acquisition agenda across its lending and business portfolio, driving sustainable business growth through customer-centric and data-led marketing strategies.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a commercially driven marketer who can translate business objectives into compelling customer propositions, accelerate acquisition and conversion, strengthen product growth and leverage digital, CRM, data, AI and strategic partnerships to deliver measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, data-driven and commercially focused marketer who can combine brand building, customer insight, digital acquisition and business performance to deliver sustainable growth.

Job Profile

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business and portfolio growth targets
  • Lead brand, product positioning, propositions and go-to-market strategies
  • Drive integrated campaigns across digital, social, CRM, branch, activation and traditional channels
  • Manage customer acquisition funnels from awareness and lead generation through to conversion and retention
  • Deliver performance marketing, data-led segmentation, CRM, personalisation and marketing automation
  • Work closely with Business, Sales, Branches, Digital, Data and Operations teams to improve conversion and customer journeys
  • Identify partnership and ecosystem opportunities to generate incremental business
  • Manage marketing budgets, campaign ROI/ROMI and vendor performance
  • Build and develop internal capabilities and external agency relationships
  • Plan and monitor marketing programs across lifecycle stages
  • Prepare monthly marketing dashboards and performance reports
  • Provide training and support to field teams with marketing materials
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Contribute to annual budget planning and forecasting

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Business, Finance, Economics or a related field
  • 6–8 years of relevant marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic, brand, product or growth marketing role
  • Experience in banking, finance, fintech, leasing, lending or related industries preferred
  • Strong experience in digital/performance marketing, customer acquisition and lead generation
  • Proven ability to work with Sales, Business and Distribution teams
  • Ability to work with CRM, analytics, product development, partnerships and digital customer journeys will be advantageous
  • A CIM, MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is also an advantage
