POST OF HEAD OF OPERATIONS/ OPERATIONS MANAGER
Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational aspects of the mall to ensure efficient and profitable functioning. This role plays a crucial part in achieving customer satisfaction and meeting organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cashier functions, and customer service.
- Ensure that the store is well-maintained, clean, and organized for an excellent shopping experience.
- Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and cycle counts.
- Ensure accurate stock levels, minimize stock outs, and address overstock issues.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage store staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and stock clerks.
- Schedule and assign tasks to optimize staffing levels and maintain excellent customer service.
- Visual Merchandising:
- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create displays and layouts that drive sales.
- Ensure that the store is well-presented and conforms to the company’s visual standards.
- Customer Service:
- Promote a high standard of customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Develop strategies to increase store sales, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Set and achieve sales targets, monitor performance, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the store budget, including labor costs, inventory expenses, and operational costs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and work to optimize resource allocation.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and operational data.
- Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in retail operations management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of retail operations and merchandising.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Problem solving ability.
- Experience in Fashion Retail Management Minimum 02 to 03 Years.
