SENIOR EXECUTIVE - GRAPHICS
Ahmad Tea Limited, an internationally reputed tea trading organization based in London, UK has its Liaison Office in Colombo.
We are looking for an ideal person to join our Graphics Team and function as a Senior Executive - Graphics
The said candidate should be within 25 – 35 years with a very good command of English and work as a team, whilst meeting deadlines and should be prepared to travel to the Emirates for training purposes
Job Specification
Based in Colombo, the selected candidate will align with the strategic objectives of the Ahmad Tea Graphics Department, focusing on requirements fulfillment to ensure all demands on graphics are successfully met.
Purpose of the Position
The Senior Graphics Executive reports directly to the Graphics Supervisor/Manager to execute all packaging artwork requirements while maintaining rigorous brand and product standards. This role utilizes advanced design software to create compelling visual concepts that engage consumers and streamline the packaging production workflow. The primary responsibility is developing comprehensive layouts for packaging and marketing collateral to support cross-functional manufacturing, sales, and marketing objectives.

Academic & Trade Qualifications
- Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Computer Graphics
- Technical Certifications: Professional Certification / Diploma in Packaging Design
- Software Proficiency: Adobe Photoshop Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite
Work experience and skills
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven experience in graphics, artwork development, and design operations, preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing sector.
- Design & Technical Expertise: Highly proficient in Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite, and other visual design tools, alongside a strong command of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Creative Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to adapt existing designs, perform advanced image creation and retouching, and propose innovative, independent design concepts.
- Localization & Quality Control: Experienced in managing multilingual assets, including meticulous proofreading and quality assurance of final artworks.
- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of commercial printing and packaging environments, standards, and processes.
- Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with native or professional fluency in both written and spoken English.
