HEAD OF OPERATIONS
Food Manufacturing & Retail | Colombo
BakeShop, a rapidly growing bakery and food retail chain with 20+ outlets and ISO 22000-certified centralized production facilities, is seeking an experienced, results-driven leader to oversee operations and drive business performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee end-to-end production, dispatch, logistics and retail outlet operations.
- Lead workflow automation, digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize production and retail operations.
- Drive retail sales, business growth and outlet expansion.
- Improve productivity, optimize resources, minimize wastage and control operational costs.
- Take ownership of achieving business growth, revenue and profitability targets across production and retail operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven leadership experience in a structured corporate environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Operations Management, Business Analytics or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications will be an advantage.
- Proven ability to manage large teams, multiple departments and complex operations.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated success in process improvement, cost optimization and performance management.
