SAFETY OFFICER – CONSTRUCTION

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Implement and maintain site safety procedures and policies.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety awareness programs.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
- Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports.
- Maintain safety records, checklists, and documentation.
- Coordinate with site management to address safety concerns.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and company requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma/Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
- NEBOSH / IOSH qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in construction.
- Good knowledge of construction site safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to identify hazards and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work at construction sites.
