The Colombo Swimming Club, one of Sri Lanka's premier members' clubs, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the below position.
Maintenance Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all Engineering and Maintenance Operations of the Club.
- Responsible for developing and presenting the Annual Projects and Maintenance budget.
- Lead and direct the Engineering and Maintenance team on day-to-day operations and projects.
- Ensure timely, effective, and cost-efficient delivery of Engineering/Maintenance tasks and projects.
- Monitor and control the cost of the maintenance activities.
- Develop a preventive maintenance plan and ensure equipment and service down times are kept to a minimum.
- Provide regular progress updates to management and committee.
- End to end supervision and management of all projects and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Should have a minimum of 10 years of work experience in the field of Engineering with focus on Kitchen Equipment and Swimming Pools, Project Management and General Maintenance.
- Should possess a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution/university in the field of Engineering.
- Qualifications related to project management would be a definite advantage.
- A sound understanding of Engineering principles.
- High level of computer literacy Microsoft Excel analysis tools and other Office packages.
- Strong interpersonal skills and Communication skills in English both verbal and written.
