Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, International Relations, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications in student counselling or international education will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in student placements, admissions, international education, visa processing, or a related field.
- Experience in handling Australian and UK student visa applications is essential. Experience with student and tourist visa applications for countries such as the USA, Canada, New Zealand, and Malaysia will be an added advantage.
- Experience dealing with international universities and managing student placement and visa application processes will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn, openness to new ideas, and a proactive approach to supporting the growth of the International Placements Unit by identifying and developing partnerships with universities across different countries to expand student placement opportunities.
Job Description
- Process international university applications from initial inquiry to final placement.
- Guide students on admission requirements, application procedures, and deadlines.
- Assist students in preparing visa applications and supporting documentation.
- Ensure all required documents are complete and compliant with immigration requirements.
- Provide guidance to students and parents regarding university admissions, visa requirements, and study pathways.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, and promotional events.
- Keep up to date with changes in university admission requirements and immigration regulations.
- Follow up with embassies, visa centres, and immigration authorities regarding application status.
