POST OF ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER (TRANSFORMATION & PROCESS RE-ENGINEERING) - SPECIAL GRADE
THE PERSON
- A Bachelor's Degree in Management, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or any other relevant discipline from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka.
- A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in a financial institution regulated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), including relevant experience in transformation, process re-engineering, business process improvement, or a related field, with at least five years in a managerial capacity.
- Associate Membership of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL) / Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka / Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of the United Kingdom will be an added advantage
- Should be a Sri Lankan Citizen
THE JOB
- Develop and implement transformation strategies and process re-engineering initiatives aligned with the Bank’s strategic objectives.
- Review and redesign business processes to improve operational efficiency, productivity, service quality, and customer experience.
- Identify opportunities for process automation, digitalization, and AI-driven operational improvements.
- Lead transformation projects and change management initiatives across relevant divisions and branches.
- Establish performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of process improvements and transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with relevant divisions to streamline workflows, eliminate process inefficiencies, strengthen controls, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
This position will be on permanent basis subject to a probationary period of one year.
REMUNERATION
An attractive monthly remuneration package exceeding Rs. 600,000/- will be offered to the selected candidates for the position of Assistant General Manager.
In addition, the package includes:
- A guaranteed annual bonus equivalent to two months’ gross salary.
- A performance-based bonus
- A medical assistance scheme covering immediate family members.
- Housing and other staff loans at concessionary interest rates.
- A superannuation scheme with both Provident Fund and ETF benefits.
- A non-contributory pension scheme, with eligibility contingent upon a minimum of 10 years’ service in the Bank
- Reimbursement of professional membership fees
