EXECUTIVE – FINANCE
Marine Survey and Technology Services (Pvt) Ltd, a member of the Ceyline Group, is a leading provider of reefer container management, marine surveying, container and cargo surveys, vessel surveys and related maritime services in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. We are looking for a dedicated, motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Executive – Finance.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Partly qualified in CIMA, CA or an equivalent qualification or pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Relevant working experience in an accounting or finance environment.
- Experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing and inventory management.
- Knowledge of ERP/accounting systems, experience in Acumatica ERP would be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage customer invoices, outstanding payments, collections and account reconciliations.
- Process supplier invoices, payment schedules and supplier account reconciliations.
- Handle sales orders, Maldives consignment and rental invoicing, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
- Conduct monthly stock counts, reconcile inventory records and investigate stock variances.
- Manage petty cash transactions, reimbursements and reconciliations.
- Handle accounting activities through Acumatica ERP and monitor finance related activities in the RMS.
- Assist in monthly management reporting, financial record maintenance and month end closing activities.
