VACANCY – PRINCIPAL
SECONDARY SCHOOL – GRADES 6-13 – O/L & A/L
We seek an experienced, results-driven Principal to lead our O/L and A/L sections and take them to the next level
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Raise O/L and A/L results – priority on English, Mathematics and Science
- Grow and strengthen the English-medium stream
- Lead sports, clubs, societies and student wellbeing
- School discipline, staff, timetables and student affairs
- Staff appraisal, training and development
- Work closely with parents and the Board of Directors
- Drive digital learning and modern teaching methods
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree (PGDE or teaching qualification preferred)
- At least 5 years as Principal or Deputy Principal of a large secondary school
- Proven O/L and A/L results and examination administration
- Fluent in Sinhala and English; bilingual-medium experience
- Confident with digital and modern teaching methods
- Integrity and strong leadership - a role model for students and staff
- Retired Principals with a strong leadership record are welcome to apply
